1. RidePro 4×4 Suspension Systems
Ateco Equipment are the parent of RidePro and ROX Shocks developed and designed for 4WD to suit Australian conditions and distributed about the world.
RoxShocks have been trialled and used in some of the most difficult and rugged 4 wheel drive routes in Australia and overseas.
The RidePro range include the ROX Shock 41mm piston shock absorbers, Coil and Leaf springs, Steering stabilisers, Torsion bars, Swaybars, Polyurethane brushes and shackles.
Our system has been designed for up to 50mm lift from standard ride heights.

2. OzTec Suspension
OzTec Suspension is a top grade of 4WD suspension components that have been researched, developed and tested by George Shepheard Auto Developments (GSAD) having over 40 years of experience in suspensions.
George’s experience goes without question. Results to his credit – winning 3 Australian Rally Championships, 8 State and Australian Rally Championships, first Outright in the Australian Touring Car Championship and 2 Bathurst 1000 race wins with drivers such as Peter Brock, Jim Richards, Dick Johnson and World Formula 1 Champion Alan Jones all choosing to drive cars whose suspension is built by GSAD.
OzTec shock absorbers are manufactured to GSAD design specifications in Germany and Brazil not to just do the job but to excel.
The range of shock absorbers
- Comfort – suits lightly loaded vehicles with minimal accessories where comfort is a priority
- Cargo – designed to suit the extra weight with 4WD optioned up with bullbars, winches, long range tanks and the like
Warranty on OzTec shock absorbers – OzTec provide a limited Life Time Warranty subject to thier terms.
3. Tough Dog
Tough Dog started life in a garage in Sydney in 1985. Originally selling shocks from Trailmaster in the US, it didn’t take long to realise that Australia needed a far tougher suspension range than anything available at the time.
The only way to find such a range was to make it. So began the Tough Dog legend hence this is Tough Dog today…
Tough Dog Shocks
Are available in 40mm, 45mm and 53mm bores in different fitment combinations to suit a wide range of vehicles.
The use of Micro-cellular foam inserts has produced a new breed of shocks, which are more resistant to fade. After heavy work, all shock absorbers, whether they are hydraulic, gas or foam cell shocks, show signs of fade or lack of damping force.
In addition to the below Tough Dog have steering stabilizer shock and nitrogen gas shocks.

Tough Dog Springs
1. Premium pack leaf springs
Tough Dog Premium leaf springs are a truly progressive rate leaf spring. Each leaf is set slightly higher than the leaf above so there is contact along the whole length of the leaf.
We have both one and two stage springs. When a load carrying capacity is desired, then a “Two Stage” leaf pack can be used.
This will ensure that the vehicle rides on the 1st stage when empty thus ensuring a safer and more comfortable ride. And when loaded, the 2nd stage progressively comes into play,
2. Coil springs
X5K, is a new generation, high strength spring steel grade designed to withstand higher operating stresses with superior resistance to sag and improved toughness and corrosion fatigue properties.
These properties are enhanced by the addition of Silicon, Chromium, Vanadium Nickel along with lower Carbon than conventional spring steel grades. This steel is of such high quality that it performs substantially better than other spring steel grades.
