Offroad Animal Pre-Runner Steel Front Bumper – Jeep Grand Cherokee WL & L (2022–Present) – Overland

The factory front end on the Grand Cherokee WL and L leaves the lower bumper, radiator area and other components exposed once the vehicle starts seeing rough tracks and steeper terrain.

The Offroad Animal Pre-Runner adds a steel lower-front protection system that sits tight to the vehicle, protecting vulnerable components while improving clearance and approach angle without moving to a full bull bar.

Front Protection

The Pre-Runner protects vulnerable areas around the lower front of the vehicle, including:

• Factory front bumper area

• Radiator

• Front cross-member

• Windscreen washer reservoir

• Air-suspension compressor where fitted

Its close-fitting design also improves front clearance for off-road driving while retaining airflow through the front of the vehicle.

Factory Technology

The Pre-Runner is designed to retain:

• Forward parking sensors

• Adaptive Cruise Control radar

It is also ADR compliant and airbag compatible.

Recovery Points Required

The Pre-Runner requires either:

• Offroad Animal recovery points/tow hooks, or

• Genuine Jeep tow hooks

One of these mounting systems must already be fitted or installed with the Pre-Runner.

This allows the front protection system to be built up further depending on the vehicle's recovery and accessory requirements.
