Offroad Animal Predator Bull Bar – Jeep Grand Cherokee WL & L (2022–Present)

The Grand Cherokee WL has plenty of factory technology across the front end, but relatively little protection once the vehicle starts seeing animal-strike risk, rough tracks or steeper off-road terrain.

The Offroad Animal Predator Bull Bar replaces the factory front bumper with a full steel bar while retaining the major driver-assistance systems and providing mounting for a winch, lighting and antennas.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits all trim levels of Jeep Grand Cherokee WL and Grand Cherokee L from 2022–Present.

The bar is:

• ADR compliant

• Airbag compatible

• Compatible with factory parking sensors

• Compatible with the 360° camera

• Compatible with Adaptive Cruise Control radar

• Compatible with Autonomous Emergency Braking

• Compatible with Intersection Collision Assist

Australian 3-row Grand Cherokee L models fitted with headlight washers are not compatible with the factory headlight washer system once this bar is installed.

Front Clearance

The Predator replaces the factory bumper and improves the vehicle's front approach angle.

It adds approximately 90mm to the front of the vehicle, keeping the bar relatively close to the body for a full steel bumper.

Winch Compatibility

The bar is designed for most low-mount winches up to 12,000lb, including the Warn Zeon, without requiring a separate winch cradle.

A number plate flip bracket is included for vehicles running a winch.

Because the Grand Cherokee uses powered radiator louvres, the winch control box cannot normally remain mounted directly on top of the winch.

Offroad Animal supplies a winch control-box relocation bracket, although some winches may require extended control-box cables depending on the installation.

Recovery Points

Steel recovery points are incorporated into the bull-bar mounting system and supplied as standard.

No recovery-point load rating is stated in the supplied specifications.

Lighting & Accessories

The centre of the bar accepts compatible single-row LED light bars, with Offroad Animal recommending a 22-inch light bar.

Factory fog lights from the following models can be relocated into the bar:

• Altitude

• Overland

• Trailhawk

Other fog-light configurations may require a different lighting solution.

Offroad Animal recommends using a CANM8 high-beam interface when wiring driving lights into the vehicle.

The bar can also be fitted with optional bolt-on top hoops, including the available Rally Hoop.

Construction & Finish

The Predator uses a welded one-piece steel bar with welded wing supports.

It is:

• Zinc plated for corrosion protection

• Powder coated matte black as standard

• Able to be colour coded to the vehicle

Aluminium bash plates are supplied underneath the bar to provide lower protection without adding unnecessary steel weight.

Integrated Hi-Lift jacking points are also included.
