Offroad Animal Scout Roof Rack – Nissan Navara D40 Dual Cab (2005–2014)

The Offroad Animal Scout Roof Rack gives the D40 Navara a low-profile aluminium platform for carrying recovery gear, camping equipment, awnings and other roof-mounted accessories.

Its five T-slot cross rails accept standard M8 mounting hardware, making it easy to position accessories across the rack without relying on fixed mounting points.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits Nissan Navara D40 Dual Cab models from MY2005–MY2014.

Compatible with:

• All Dual Cab models within the listed year range

• 2.5L diesel

• 4.0L V6

Does not suit vehicles fitted with factory accessory roof rails.

Titanium / Sunroof Models

Fitment to Titanium models with the factory sunroof is not confirmed.

The mounting track sits outside the sunroof area, but Offroad Animal has not confirmed the required opening clearance between the sunroof and the rack.

RTS507 Tracks Required

Installation requires the Rhino-Rack RTS507 track system.

The RTS507 tracks are not included as standard with the Scout rack and need to be purchased separately if the vehicle does not already have them fitted.

Load Ratings

Offroad Animal specifies:

• On-road roof rating: 100kg

• Off-road roof rating: 66kg

• Static rating: 200kg

• Scout rack weight: approximately 17kg

• Required track system: approximately 4kg

The vehicle roof limits include the weight of the rack and mounting system, so this weight needs to be deducted when calculating usable cargo capacity.

T-Slot Platform

The Scout uses 5 aluminium T-slot cross rails.

These accept standard M8 T-nuts and hardware, providing adjustable mounting positions for recovery gear, awnings and other compatible roof-rack accessories.

Low-Profile Design

The rack adds approximately 55mm to the height of the vehicle, keeping the platform close to the roof.

Wind Deflector & Light Bar

A front wind deflector is supplied as part of the rack.

It can be configured as a smooth wind deflector or set up to accommodate a single or double-row LED light bar up to 42 inches.

Construction & Finish

The Scout uses a lightweight aluminium platform design finished in matte black powder coat.
