Offroad Animal Scout Roof Rack – Nissan Patrol Y62 (2013–Present)

The Offroad Animal Scout Roof Rack gives the Nissan Patrol Y62 a large, low-profile aluminium platform for carrying touring gear, recovery equipment, awnings and other roof-mounted accessories.

Seven T-slot cross rails provide plenty of mounting space across the roof and accept standard M8 hardware, making it easy to position accessories without relying on fixed mounting points.

The Y62’s vehicle roof rating is listed at 100kg.

With the Scout rack weighing approximately 32kg, this leaves approximately:

68kg of available cargo capacity while driving

The vehicle manufacturer’s roof-load limit remains the governing limit.

Platform Size

The Scout provides a large usable platform measuring approximately:

• 2100mm long

• 1300mm wide

This gives plenty of room for longer touring gear and multiple roof-mounted accessories.

T-Slot Platform

The rack uses 7 aluminium T-slot cross rails.

The channels accept standard M8 nuts and bolts, allowing accessories to be positioned across the rack and making the platform compatible with a wide range of aftermarket mounting systems.

Low-Profile Design

The Scout adds approximately 56mm to the height of the vehicle.

Keeping the rack close to the roof reduces unnecessary bulk and frontal area compared with taller basket-style racks.

Wind Deflector & Light Bar

A dual-cover front wind deflector is supplied as standard.

The removable cover provides a mounting position for a 42" LED light bar, allowing the rack to be run either with the smooth front cover fitted or with an integrated light bar.

Construction & Finish

The Scout uses a lightweight aluminium construction and is finished in matte black powder coat.
