Offroad Animal Scout Roof Rack – Suzuki Jimny XL 5-Door (2024–Present)

The Offroad Animal Scout gives the 5-door Jimny XL a full-length aluminium roof platform for carrying touring gear, recovery equipment, awnings and other roof-mounted accessories.

Seven T-slot cross rails provide adjustable mounting across the rack, with T-slots on all four sides of the slats for flexible accessory positioning.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits Suzuki Jimny XL 5-door models from 2024–Present.

The rack mounts using six gutter mounts and clamps supplied with the kit.

Vehicle Roof Load

Offroad Animal lists the Jimny XL’s vehicle roof rating at 30kg.

The Scout rack itself weighs approximately 28kg, which leaves approximately:

2kg remaining within the stated vehicle roof rating once the rack is fitted.

Offroad Animal states that the rack system itself is capable of supporting substantially more weight, up to 150kg, but this does not increase the vehicle manufacturer’s roof-load limit.

The vehicle roof rating remains the limiting figure when loading the rack.

T-Slot Platform

The Scout uses 7 aluminium T-slot cross rails.

The T-slots run on all four sides of the slats and accept compatible T-nuts and mounting hardware, providing plenty of adjustment for roof-rack accessories.

The platform is also compatible with a wide range of aftermarket accessories.

Wind Deflector & Light Bar

A standard wind deflector is supplied with the rack.

An optional light-bar wind deflector is available and can accommodate a single or double-row LED light bar up to 42 inches.

Construction & Finish

The Scout uses a lightweight aluminium construction and is finished in matte black powder coat.

The rack is designed to sit relatively close to the Jimny’s roof to reduce unnecessary height and wind resistance.
