Offroad Animal Bash Plate – Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 (2011–2021)
The factory plastic underbody cover on the WK2 is fine for road use, but it doesn’t offer much protection once the vehicle starts seeing rocks, ruts and rough tracks.
This Offroad Animal bash plate replaces that vulnerable lower section with 5mm structural aluminium, protecting the engine sump and radiator cross-member without adding unnecessary weight underneath the vehicle.

Underbody Protection
The bash plate is designed to protect:
- Engine sump
- Radiator cross-member
- Lower front underbody area
It also works alongside compatible Mopar skid plates, so it can form part of a broader underbody protection setup.
Construction
Made from 5mm structural aluminium.
The plate is left in a raw aluminium finish, so there is no powder coat or paint to chip and require touching up after off-road use.
Installation
The bash plate mounts to existing factory locations, so no drilling is required.
An access panel is built into the design to make oil servicing easier, particularly on V8 models.
