  • 304-grade stainless steel provides high strength and rust resistance
  • Thick stainless steel handles extreme temperatures and tough terrain without cracking
  • Mandrel bent pipe guarantees optimum exhaust flow and accurate fitment
  • Heavy-duty brackets and 3-bolt flanges welded inside and out add extra strength and prevent leaking
  • A single resonator produces a deeper note, particularly noticeable at idle
  • Two exhaust tip options to choose from in the kit (long or short)

Click on the audio tab above to listen to the difference between the stock exhaust and Torqit’s V6 Ranger system.

The exhaust fits with a spare tyre and includes an extended tailpipe, so unlike the stock exhaust- it’s visible at the rear. As it bolts directly to the DPF, you don’t need to worry about keeping your Ranger roadworthy. MORE ABOUT TORQIT’S V6 RANGER EXHAUST

Thick Stainless Steel
Your exhaust faces a lot – high temperatures, vibrations, and rough terrain. That’s why Torqit uses stainless steel up to 2mm thick. This keeps the structural strength of the pipe after bending plus makes it extremely tough and difficult to crack. With a thick-walled exhaust, you can confidently head off-road knowing it will last the distance.
Steel thickness also affects the sound your exhaust makes. The thinner the steel, the tinnier the note; listen to the difference between cheap vs. quality stainless steel here. Torqit exhausts are among the thickest mandrel bent systems in Australia, giving you a deep note minus the cabin drone.

304 Grade Stainless Steel
The highest quality steel used in exhaust systems is 304-grade stainless – it’s strong, rust-resistant, and easy to maintain. It has a high percentage of chromium and nickel compared to other grades of stainless, meaning it holds up better under stress and in tough conditions like extreme heat.
This rust resistance is especially important if you drive through water or live by the coast. Over time, lower-grade steels such as 409 grade produce surface rust. In comparison, 304-grade steel will only brown when exposed to high temperatures, and you can easily polish it back to its original finish. Learn more on the differences between 304 and 409-grade stainless steel here.

Internal & External Welds
Quality welds are important for avoiding structural fatigue on joints, preventing cracks, and stopping exhaust gas leaks. At Torqit, we use TIG welding for maximum strength. Although TIG welding is complex and more time-consuming than the usual MIG welding technique used on exhausts, it’s the quality that stands Torqit apart. We take the time to make sure our welds are precise and clean, with no welding spatter.

Mandrel Bent System
Torqit’s Mandrel Bender uses a flexible mandrel rod, which supports the pipe internally and prevents crinkling as it’s bent. This produces smooth, even walls for optimum exhaust flow, reduced back pressure, and consistent strength. The Mandrel Bender also uses detailed programming to control the path of each exhaust as it is produced, so it fits perfectly. Check out the Torqit Mandrel Bender in action.
