Offroad Animal False Floor – Toyota Prado 250 Series (2024–Present)

If you're setting up the back of a Prado 250 for touring, a flat and solid mounting surface makes it much easier to secure a fridge, battery system, compressor or other cargo properly.

The Offroad Animal False Floor replaces the uneven factory cargo-floor setup with a stronger base that can be used for mounting equipment and adding tie-down points, while also creating some useful storage underneath.

Compatible with both:

• 5-seat models
• 7-seat models

Lower Cargo Floor

The false floor also lowers the usable cargo-floor height compared with the factory setup:

• 5-seat models: approximately 25mm lower
• 7-seat models: approximately 130mm lower

That gives you a flatter base and, particularly in the 7-seater, noticeably more usable vertical space in the cargo area.

Lightweight Setup

The complete false-floor kit weighs approximately 8kg.

That keeps the added weight relatively low while still giving you a proper base for mounting touring equipment.

Mounting & Support

The floor secures to the Prado's factory steel structure around the 48V system, with two additional aluminium support brackets forming part of the setup.

This gives the floor a solid mounting structure without relying on the timber panel alone.

Carpeted Timber Floor

The top panel is timber and finished in charcoal grey marine carpet, giving the cargo area a clean surface for gear while matching the sort of finish normally used in touring storage setups.

Under-Floor Storage

A removable panel in the rear face gives you access to storage underneath the false floor.

That space is useful for smaller tools and equipment you want kept in the vehicle without having them rolling around in the main cargo area.

Compressor Mounting Area

A tray is included on the left-hand side of the floor setup and is well suited to mounting an air compressor or similar equipment.
