Offroad Animal Pre-Runner Steel Front Bumper – Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 (2011–2013)

The Pre-Runner adds steel protection around the lower front of the early WK2 Grand Cherokee without going to a full-height bull bar.

It sits tight to the vehicle to help retain approach angle while protecting vulnerable components around the radiator, front cross-member, washer reservoir and air-suspension compressor where fitted.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 models from 2011 to 2013.

Does not suit Summit models.

For 2013 vehicles, transmission fitment matters: if your WK2 has the 8-speed gearbox, this is not the correct version — use the 2014–2016 Pre-Runner instead.

The bumper is:

• ADR compliant
• Airbag compatible
• Compatible with adaptive cruise control when used with the appropriate ACC bracket

Tow Hooks Required

This bumper mounts using Offroad Animal WK2 Tow Hooks.

Factory Trailhawk tow hooks are not compatible with the mounting system.

If the vehicle already has Offroad Animal tow hooks fitted, the bumper can be ordered without another tow-point kit.

Front-End Protection

The Pre-Runner is designed to protect:

• Lower front bumper area
• Radiator
• Front cross-member
• Windscreen washer reservoir
• Air-suspension compressor where fitted

Its close-fitting design keeps unnecessary front overhang down while still adding useful steel protection for off-road driving.

Construction & Finish

The bumper uses full steel construction, with most of the assembly made from 3mm steel.

It is zinc plated before being finished in matte black powder coat.

The open front design also allows airflow through to the cooling system.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Vehicles fitted with adaptive cruise control require the appropriate ACC radar mounting bracket.

This is an optional component and should be selected where required.

Parking Sensor Note

Offroad Animal notes that the factory parking sensors on these vehicles may detect the bumper and continually indicate that an object is nearby.

This should be taken into account before fitting on a vehicle equipped with front parking sensors.

Compatible Offroad Animal Accessories

The Pre-Runner can be used with other compatible WK2 components, including:

• WK2 Bash Plate
• Hidden winch system

When using the Nudge Bar together with this bumper, Offroad Animal recommends a soft shackle or D shackle rather than a bow shackle due to the combined material thickness around the recovery point.
