Offroad Animal Pre-Runner Steel Front Bumper – Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 (2017–2021)

The Pre-Runner gives the later WK2 Grand Cherokee more protection around the lower front end without going to a full bull bar.

It sits tight to the vehicle to preserve approach angle while adding steel protection around the factory bumper, radiator, front cross-member, washer reservoir and the air-suspension compressor where fitted.

Suits Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 models from 2017 to 2021.

The bumper is:

• ADR compliant
• Airbag compatible
• Compatible with forward parking sensors
• Compatible with adaptive cruise control when used with the appropriate radar bracket

Tow Hooks Required

This bumper mounts using Offroad Animal WK2 Tow Hooks.

Factory Trailhawk tow hooks are not compatible with this setup.

If you already have the Offroad Animal tow hooks fitted, select the appropriate option when ordering. Otherwise, the tow-point kit can be supplied with the bumper.

Front-End Protection

The steel bumper is designed to protect vulnerable components around the lower front of the WK2, including:

• Front bumper area
• Radiator
• Front cross-member
• Windscreen washer reservoir
• Air-suspension compressor where fitted

Its tight fit against the vehicle also helps retain a useful front approach angle for off-road driving.

Construction & Finish

The bumper uses full steel construction, with most of the structure made from 3mm steel.

It is zinc plated before being finished in matte black powder coat for corrosion protection.

The open design also retains airflow through the front of the vehicle.

Works with Other Offroad Animal WK2 Accessories

The Pre-Runner can be used with other compatible Offroad Animal WK2 components, including:

• Nudge bar
• Bash plate
• Hidden winch system

When running the Offroad Animal Nudge Bar together with this bumper on 2017-on models, Offroad Animal recommends using a soft shackle or D shackle rather than a bow shackle due to the combined material thickness around the recovery mounting area.
