Offroad Animal Predator Bull Bar – Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 (2011–2021)

The Predator gives the WK2 Grand Cherokee proper front-end protection while keeping the bar relatively tight to the vehicle.

It is built around the things that matter on a touring or off-road Grand Cherokee: winch capacity, rated recovery points, front-end clearance and compatibility with the factory safety systems.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 models from 2011 to 2021, including:

• Laredo
• Limited
• Limited-S
• Overland
• Overland-S
• Summit
• Trailhawk

Does not suit SRT models.

The bar is:

• ADR compliant
• Airbag compatible
• Compatible with factory parking sensors
• Compatible with adaptive cruise radar
• Compatible with autonomous emergency braking

Front-End Clearance

The Predator adds approximately 100mm to the front of the vehicle.

Its shape also improves the front approach angle compared with the factory bumper, making the lower front end less exposed when approaching steep terrain.

Winch Setup

The integrated winch mount is rated for winches up to 12,000lb and suits most common winches, including the Warn Zeon.

A number plate flip is included for vehicles running a winch.

Recovery & Jacking Points

Offroad Animal steel recovery/tow hooks are supplied with the bar.

Each side is rated to 4000kg.

Hi-lift jacking points are also incorporated into the bar.

Lighting

The centre of the Predator accommodates compatible single-row LED light bars, with Offroad Animal recommending a 22" light bar.

The factory fog lights are not retained with this bar.

Instead, the wing sections can accommodate one or two compatible LED driving lights per side.

Air Suspension & Under Panels

There are two different under-panel arrangements depending on the vehicle's suspension.

Make sure the correct option is selected for:

• Vehicles with air suspension
• Vehicles without air suspension

Non-air-suspension vehicles use smaller under panels that sit closer to the body.

Construction & Finish

The Predator uses a one-piece welded steel construction with welded wing supports.

It is zinc plated before being finished in matte black powder coat.

Colour coding is also available.

Installation

Installation requires cutting the original bumper.

For a WK2 Grand Cherokee being set up for touring or off-road use, the Predator adds proper steel protection, winch capacity and rated recovery points while retaining the vehicle's major factory driver-assistance systems.
