Offroad Animal Predator Bull Bar – Toyota FJ Cruiser (2011–2016)

The Predator gives the FJ Cruiser a more open, low-profile front end while still giving you the protection, winch capacity and recovery setup needed for proper off-road use.

What makes this version a little different is the removable outer wing design. You can run the Predator as a narrower mid-width bar, or add the outer wing sections for a full-width setup depending on how you want the FJ configured.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits Toyota FJ Cruiser models from 2011 to 2016.

The Predator is:

• Full bumper replacement
• No cutting of the factory bumper or grille required

Mid-Width or Full-Width Setup

The outside sections of the bar are removable, allowing the FJ to be run with the narrower mid-width / stubby-style configuration.

For a full-width setup, the matching outer wing sections can be fitted.

This also gives you a little more freedom in how aggressive or compact you want the front of the FJ to be.

Weight & Front-End Fit

The Predator weighs approximately 64kg, while around 22kg of factory components are removed during installation.

That gives a net increase of approximately 42kg.

The bar sits around 185mm forward of the grille and adds approximately 50mm to the overall vehicle length compared with the factory bumper.

Winch & Recovery Setup

The integrated winch cradle is rated for winches up to 12,000lb and suits most common low-mount winches, including the Warn Zeon.

The winch mounts feet-down and can be fitted after the bar is already installed, which makes adding or servicing the winch considerably easier.

Recovery points are incorporated into the mounting system and supplied with the bar.

A number plate flip is also included for winch-equipped setups.

Lighting Options

The centre of the Predator can take a 30–32" single-row LED light bar.

With the outer wings fitted, each side can also take:

• 2 x cube lights, or
• Up to approximately a 7.5–8" single-row LED light bar

The Predator is also compatible with Offroad Animal's bolt-on upper hoop range, giving you further options for driving lights or an upper bar setup.

Lighting and optional hoops are sold separately.

Construction & Finish

The Predator is made mainly from 3mm and 5mm steel.

It is zinc plated before being finished in matte black powder coat, with colour coding also available.
