Offroad Animal Rock Sliders – Ford Ranger Raptor (2018–2022)

The factory Ranger Raptor side steps work well as steps, but they sit low and mount to the body rather than being designed to take repeated hits off-road.

These Offroad Animal Rock Sliders replace that setup with a chassis-mounted protection system, keeping the slider tucked higher against the vehicle while still giving you a useful step for getting in and out or reaching gear on the roof.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits Ford Ranger Raptor models from 2018 to 2022.

The sliders are side-curtain airbag compatible.

Chassis-Mounted Design

Each side uses 3 heavy-duty steel brackets mounted directly to the chassis.

The aluminium backbone and steel tread section then mount to those brackets, keeping the slider loads away from the factory body-mounted step arrangement.

6061-T6 Aluminium Backbone

The main structural backbone is made from 6061-T6 aluminium extrusion.

This gives the slider a strong central structure while also making the multi-piece design easier to install than a large one-piece assembly.

30-Degree Upswept Profile

The sliders angle upward by 30 degrees, improving clearance compared with the low-hanging factory steps.

That keeps more of the slider tucked up beside the vehicle when working through rocks, ruts and uneven terrain.

Steel Tread Step

A steel tread section runs along the outside of the slider, so it still works properly as an everyday step.

It is useful for:

• Getting in and out of the Raptor
• Reaching roof-mounted gear
• Loading or securing equipment

The step uses an extruded tread pattern for grip rather than a basic diamond-plate surface.
