Offroad Animal Rock Sliders – Toyota Fortuner N160 (2015–Present)

The Fortuner’s sills and lower door area can take a hit once the vehicle starts working through rocks, ruts and uneven ground. Factory side steps are useful for access, but they are not designed to take the same sort of impact as a proper chassis-mounted slider.

These Offroad Animal Rock Sliders replace the factory step setup with a stronger protection system while still giving you a usable step for getting in and out of the vehicle or reaching gear on the roof.

Vehicle Fitment

The sliders are side-curtain airbag compatible.

Chassis-Mounted Design

Each side uses 2 heavy-duty steel brackets mounted directly to the chassis.

The aluminium backbone and tread step then mount to those brackets, giving the slider its support from the vehicle chassis rather than relying on the factory side-step setup.

6061-T6 Aluminium Backbone

The main backbone is made from 6061-T6 aluminium extrusion.

This gives the slider a strong structural section while keeping the overall setup relatively light and practical to fit.

30-Degree Upswept Profile

The sliders angle upward by 30 degrees, keeping the outer edge tucked higher against the vehicle for better clearance off-road.

That helps reduce how much of the slider hangs down where it can catch on rocks, ruts or uneven terrain.

Steel Tread Step

A steel tread step runs along the outside of the slider, giving you a practical surface for:

• Getting in and out of the vehicle
• Reaching a roof rack
• Loading or securing gear up top

The step uses an extruded tread pattern for grip rather than a basic diamond-plate surface.
