Offroad Animal Rock Sliders with Scrub Rails – Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series Single Cab (2017–2022)

The sills on a 79 Series Single Cab sit in a vulnerable spot once the vehicle starts working through rocks, ruts and uneven ground. Factory steps give you access into the cab, but they are not built to take the same sort of contact as a chassis-mounted slider.

This setup combines Offroad Animal Rock Sliders with scrub rails, giving you protection along the sill area and extending that protection forward towards the bull bar.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series Single Cab models from 2017.

The scrub rail setup is designed to work with the Offroad Animal Toro Bull Bar.

Chassis-Mounted Slider Design

Each side uses three heavy-duty steel brackets mounted directly to the chassis.

The aluminium backbone and steel tread step then mount to those brackets, giving the slider its structure without relying on the factory side-step setup.

6061-T6 Aluminium Backbone

The main slider backbone is made from 6061-T6 aluminium extrusion.

The mounting brackets and backbone are shared with the standard slider setup, while the tread step used with the scrub rails is a different version designed for this configuration.

30-Degree Upswept Profile

The sliders angle upward by 30 degrees, helping keep the outer edge tucked higher against the vehicle.

That extra clearance is useful on rocky tracks and deep ruts where a lower-hanging factory step can easily become the first thing to make contact.

Steel Tread Step

A steel tread step runs along the outside of the slider, giving you a practical stepping surface for getting in and out of the cab or reaching gear mounted higher on the vehicle.

The step uses an extruded tread pattern for grip rather than a basic diamond-plate surface.

Scrub Rails

The scrub rails extend the protection forward from the sliders and are intended to integrate with the Offroad Animal Toro Bull Bar.

For a Single Cab being built around the Toro bar, this gives you a more continuous protection setup along the side of the vehicle rather than leaving the front quarter exposed.

Finish

Supplied in matte black powder coat as standard.

Key Features

  • Chassis-mounted rock slider setup
  • Scrub rails included
  • Designed to work with the Offroad Animal Toro Bull Bar
  • 3 heavy-duty steel mounting brackets per side
  • 6061-T6 aluminium backbone
  • Steel tread step
  • 30-degree upswept profile
  • Matte black powder-coated finish
  • Works as both sill protection and an access step

For a 79 Series Single Cab that spends time on rocky tracks, washouts and tight scrub, the slider and scrub rail combination gives the lower side of the cab more protection without losing the usefulness of a proper step.
