Offroad Animal Scout Roof Rack – Mitsubishi Triton MV (2024–Present)

The Offroad Animal Scout Roof Rack gives the Mitsubishi Triton MV a low-profile platform for carrying recovery gear, camping equipment, awnings and other roof-mounted accessories.

It uses aluminium T-slot cross rails that accept standard M8 hardware, making it easy to position accessories across the rack without being locked into dedicated mounting points.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits Mitsubishi Triton MV models from 2024–Present.

Mounting differs depending on the factory roof configuration:

• GSR & GSR Special Edition with factory roof rails: no drilling into the roof required

• GLX, GLX+, GLX-R & GLS without factory roof rails: drilling is required for installation

Load Ratings – GSR & GSR Special Edition

For vehicles fitted with factory roof rails:

• On-road roof rating: 80kg

• Off-road roof rating: 53kg

• Static rating: 160kg

• Rack weight: 21kg

Once the rack weight is deducted, this leaves approximately:

• 59kg usable on-road load

• 32kg usable off-road load

Load Ratings – GLX, GLX+, GLX-R & GLS

For models without factory roof rails:

• On-road roof rating: 60kg

• Off-road roof rating: 40kg

• Static rating: 120kg

• Rack weight: 21kg

Once the rack weight is deducted, this leaves approximately:

• 39kg usable on-road load

• 19kg usable off-road load

These limits are determined by the vehicle's roof capacity, not the strength of the Scout rack itself.

T-Slot Platform

The rack uses 5 aluminium T-slot cross rails.

The channels accept standard M8 T-nuts and hardware, giving plenty of adjustment for mounting accessories and allowing compatibility with a wide range of aftermarket equipment.

Wind Deflector & Light Bar

A wind deflector is supplied with the rack for normal use.

The rack can also be configured with a wind-deflector setup capable of integrating a single or double-row LED light bar up to 42 inches.

This keeps the light bar positioned across the front of the rack rather than requiring a separate roof-mounted bracket.

Construction & Finish

The Scout uses a lightweight aluminium platform design and is finished in matte black powder coat.

The low-profile layout keeps the rack close to the Triton's roof while still providing usable T-slot mounting space across the platform.
