Offroad Animal Scout Roof Rack – Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series (2008–2021)
The Scout Roof Rack gives the 200 Series a full-length, low-profile platform for carrying touring gear and mounting roof accessories without going to a traditional basket-style rack.
It uses seven aluminium T-slot cross rails, giving you plenty of usable mounting positions for recovery boards, tie-downs, brackets and other compatible accessories. The rails accept standard M8 nuts and bolts, so the rack can be set up around the gear you actually carry.
Vehicle Fitment
Suits Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series models from 2008 to 2021, including vehicles with or without a factory sunroof.
Low-Profile Setup
The Scout is designed to sit close to the roof, adding approximately 75mm to the overall vehicle height.
The complete rack weighs 28kg and is finished in matte black powder coat.
T-Slot Mounting
The seven aluminium cross rails use T-slots that accept standard M8 hardware.
This gives you flexible mounting positions for compatible:
- Tie-down points
- Recovery-board mounts
- Awning brackets
- Roof-rack accessories
- Other touring gear
The usable slotted mounting area measures 2050mm x 1150mm.
Load Ratings
Offroad Animal lists the Scout at:
- 200kg dynamic load rating
- 133kg off-road load rating
- 28kg rack weight
With the rack weight deducted, Offroad Animal lists 105kg of available load off-road.
Wind Deflector & Light Bar Option
A front wind deflector is included with the rack.
An optional light-bar wind deflector is also available if you want to integrate a compatible single- or double-row LED light bar up to 42 inches into the front of the rack.
Lighting and the optional light-bar wind deflector are sold separately.

Fitting
The Scout requires assembly and fitting using its 200 Series-specific mounting setup.
If you're adding an awning, recovery boards, lighting or other roof-mounted accessories, it makes sense to work out the complete setup before fitting so everything can be positioned properly from the start.
