Torqit’s Next-Gen Everest Airbox is much larger than standard, using a filter the same size as the standard 200 Series filter. This is the same volume as the stock bottle and uses the original pump, level sensor, and wiring – no cutting needed.

- Avoid dusting with an inbuilt clamped rubber seal
- Enjoy fast and easy filter changes with a simple spring hinge, 2-bolt lid
-
Prevent warping from heat and water with thick 304-grade stainless steel
Snorkel & Airbox Intake Noise
A stainless snorkel will always be louder than plastic and for us, this is all part of the appeal. With Torqit’s Next-Gen Everest Snorkel and Airbox, you’ll clearly hear the turbocharger and intake noise. If you’re installing these upgrades on the 2L Next-Gen Everest, you’ll also hear each turbocharger staging separately and the individual bypass valves.

MORE ABOUT TORQIT’S SNORKEL & AIRBOX
304 Grade Stainless Steel
The high amount of chromium and nickel in 304-grade steel gives it high strength and rust resistance. A snorkel and airbox must withstand hot temperatures and water, so this heavy-duty steel means maximum durability and a long lifespan. And bonus- it’s easy to look after.Thick Stainless Steel
Torqit uses steel up to 2mm thick. This thickness keeps the snorkel structurally sound after bending and makes sure the airbox stays rigid to prevent warping and leaking. Regardless of where you drive, thick stainless steel gives you peace of mind against cracking, denting and dusting.Mandrel Bent Pipe
Torqit’s Mandrel Bender uses a flexible rod to support the snorkel internally and prevent crinkling as it’s bent. This seamless one-piece pipe has no joins, keeping the snorkel rigid and sealed. And with its smooth, even diameter, a mandrel-bent snorkel gives you unrestricted airflow. Check out Torqit’s CNC Bender in action.Rubber Pinch Weld and Anti-Rust Paint
To protect the guard from rusting, Torqit’s Everest snorkel comes with OEM-certified paint for applying to the guard cut. A rubber pinch weld gives you a final sealed finish and also helps prevent rust and leaking.Flat Paper Filter
Torqit’s Everest Airbox uses a flat paper filter, with a surface area much larger than standard. Designed in Australia, this filter has been tried and tested to make sure it meets all OEM standards and provides max efficiency and airflow.Integrated Water Drainage Valve
An integrated Donaldson Water Evacuator prevents engine damage by draining out any water which enters the airbox. For more information, check out Torqit’s Snorkel & Airbox FAQs.
*Know your wading depth! While we designed the airbox and snorkel to be watertight, adding these alone does not prevent water from entering/damaging your vehicle in other areas. Please check your vehicle manufacturer’s recommended wading depth before undertaking water crossings.
**Note Torqit’s Next-Gen Everest Airbox warranty does not cover the aftermarket filter. How often the filter needs replacing will differ according to the vehicle application and conditions in which you drive. The filter in this airbox will likely last longer as it has a much larger surface area than the standard filter.
Instructions:
Torqit’s Next-Gen Ranger Snorkel and Airbox come complete with a fitting kit, joiners and a steel template. This steel snorkel template is laser cut and CNC folded to match the profile of the guard and includes a soft foam backing to protect the quarter panel. The template attaches to factory bolt holes inside the engine bay, providing a 100% accurate cutting guide- no measurements required. The cutting tool moves along the top of the template, which is laser etched with instructions and cutting points. The rigid steel supports the guard panel as it is cut and prevents the panel from buckling in and out, so there’s no room for error.
Also included in the fitting kit is clear OEM-certified paint for applying to the guard cut. The paint prevents rust from forming beneath the pinch weld and keeps the panel in optimum condition.
You’ll need to install the integrated washer bottle alongside the airbox, which is too big to accommodate the factory washer bottle. This uses the factory washer pump, water level sensor, and wiring – no cutting or soldering is needed.
The total fitment time for the snorkel and airbox is four hours. If you’re not an experienced fitter, we recommend getting these upgrades installed at your closest Torqit Dealer.
