Offroad Animal Toro Bull Bar – Nissan Patrol GU Y61 Series 4 (2005–2016)

The Offroad Animal Toro replaces the factory front bumper on the Series 4 GU Patrol with a full steel bull bar built around proper frontal protection, winch mounting and useful lighting positions.

It keeps the bar relatively close to the vehicle, sitting approximately 150–160mm forward of the grille, while still providing the structure needed for winching, tow points and off-road use.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits Nissan Patrol GU Y61 Series 4 models from 2005–2016.

Construction & Weight

The Toro is a welded one-piece steel bar with additional welded wing supports.

Construction uses:

• 2mm steel mesh panels

• 3mm steel pan and wings

• 5mm steel mounts and winch cradle

The complete bar weighs approximately 59kg.

It is zinc plated before being finished in matte black powder coat.

Colour coding is also available.

Winch Compatibility

The Toro is designed for most low-mount winches up to 12,000lb, including the Warn Zeon.

The winch mounts feet down, and can be installed after the bull bar has already been fitted to the vehicle.

A flip-up number plate mount is included for winch installations.

Tow Points

The bar includes 21mm laminated steel tow hooks integrated with the mounting system.

Offroad Animal rates the tow points to:

4.5 tonnes each

Lighting

The centre section can accommodate a single-row LED light bar up to approximately 22".

For round driving lights:

• Maximum conventional round light size: 7"

• Compatible with STEDI 8.5" EVO driving lights

The factory fog lights are not retained.

Each wing can instead accommodate:

• Up to 2 cube lights per side, or

• An LED light bar up to approximately 8" per side

Protection & Clearance

The compact front profile keeps the bar around 150–160mm from the grille, helping avoid pushing the front of the Patrol further forward than necessary.

Integrated Hi-Lift jacking points are built into the bar.

A centre bash plate and under-wing panels are also supplied as part of the assembly.

Factory Safety

The Toro is:

• ADR compliant

• Airbag compatible

It is a complete bumper replacement and requires no cutting of the factory bumper or grille.

Antenna Mounting

Bolt-on antenna mounts are supplied for installation behind the bull-bar uprights.
