Offroad Animal Toro Bull Bar – Toyota FJ Cruiser (2011–2016)

The FJ Cruiser already has the clearance and drivetrain to get well off the bitumen, but the factory front end leaves plenty exposed once the tracks get rough.

The Offroad Animal Toro replaces the factory bumper with a full-height steel bar that gives the FJ proper front protection along with built-in provision for a winch, recovery points, driving lights and antennas — without pushing the front of the vehicle a long way forward.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits Toyota FJ Cruiser models from 2011 to 2016.

The Toro is:

• No cutting of the factory bumper or grille required

Compact Front-End Fit

The bar sits approximately 185mm forward of the grille and adds around 50mm to the overall vehicle length compared with the factory bumper.

The complete bar weighs approximately 75kg, while around 22kg of factory components are removed during installation, giving a net increase of approximately 53kg.

Winch & Recovery Setup

The integrated winch cradle is rated for winches up to 12,000lb and suits most common low-mount winches, including the Warn Zeon.

The winch mounts feet-down and can still be installed after the bull bar has been fitted, which also makes future maintenance easier.

Recovery points are incorporated into the bar mounting system and supplied as part of the kit.

A number plate flip is also included for winch-equipped vehicles.

Lighting Options

There are several ways to build the lighting setup into the Toro.

The centre of the bar can take a:

• 30–32" single-row LED light bar

Each wing can take either:

• 2 x cube lights per side, or
• Up to approximately a 7.5–8" single-row LED light bar per side

Under the upper hoop, the listed maximum round driving-light size is 7 inches, with the STEDI Type-X EVO 8.5" also listed as compatible.

Lighting is sold separately.

Construction & Finish

The Toro is made mainly from 3mm and 5mm steel, with a one-piece welded bar and welded wing supports.

The steel is zinc plated before being finished in matte black powder coat for corrosion protection.

Colour coding is also available.

Antenna Mounting

Dedicated antenna brackets are supplied, giving you proper mounting positions for UHF or touring antennas without needing to add separate universal brackets later.
