Setting up a Series 5 Y62 for touring, beach driving or track work means balancing front-end protection, recovery capability, vehicle integration and added weight.

The DASH Predator Evolution Front Bar replaces the factory bumper with an integrated steel winch cradle and mounting system, while using a three-piece aluminium fascia to keep the complete bar weight to 52kg before lights are fitted.

This version is supplied in DASH Roc-Coat textured black, giving the bar a completed finish that does not require painting or colour coding before installation.

This bar does not suit Series 1–4 Y62 Patrols.

Strength Where It Matters

Steel is used for the mounting brackets and integrated winch cradle, where structural strength is required.

The external three-piece fascia is constructed from aluminium, helping reduce unnecessary weight over the front of the Patrol while maintaining the bar’s mounting and recovery structure.

The complete front bar weighs 52kg without lights and has been ADR tested.

Roc-Coat Textured Black Finish

DASH Roc-Coat provides a durable textured-black final finish designed for vehicles exposed to touring, off-road and outdoor conditions.

The coating is designed to resist scratches, stone chips, UV exposure and corrosion while giving the front bar a consistent black appearance.

This version arrives with its final finish applied. If you want the bar painted or colour coded to match the vehicle, order the separately listed Ready-to-Paint version instead.

Lighting and Winch Setup

The supplied aluminium light-bar bracket is designed for a compatible Stealth LED light bar.

Additional driving lights should be mounted using the steel accessory bracket rather than directly onto the aluminium light-bar bracket.

The integrated steel winch cradle accepts a range of compatible winches. Confirm compatibility with your chosen winch before ordering or installation.

Installation

Estimated fitting time is approximately 6–8 hours.

The installation involves removing the factory bumper, fitting the steel winch cradle and brackets, transferring factory equipment and aligning the three-piece fascia.

Before ordering, confirm your exact Y62 model, chosen winch, lighting setup and whether a Ti-L radar relocation bracket is required.
